The St. James Police made a major breakthrough in the murder of an accountant who was fatally shot while trying to prevent the abduction of his daughter in Bogue Heights, St. James.
Two men were arrested Wednesday in connection with the murder of 57 year old Steven McPherson.
On July 22, Mr. McPherson was on way home from work when he saw men in two cars accosting his daughter and pointing a firearm at her.
Mr. McPherson stopped to intervene and was shot in the face by one of the drivers.
Detectives later arrested the two men.
